The Assistant Director, Resource Mobilisation Unit of LASUDA, Dr. Olufunmilayo Ometan called for this when she led a team to the local government secretariat.
She said that LASUDA is lacking some infrastructure and that one of the ways to fix the problems is to approach the town and collaborate with the local government.
“We want the original people of this land, Isale-Eko to rise and assist the institution,” she said.
Speaking further, he said that the local valued education so much and would definitely give support to the University in terms of its educational needs.
Reacting, the Assistant Director, Endowment and Grant Unit of LASUDA, Dr. Abiodun Fatai-Abatan emphasised the need for the university to meet with stakeholders in the society for collaboration, as it is not easy for the university on her own part, to fund all educational services alone.
At the meeting were the supervisor for Budget, Hon. Hakeem Agoro; Supervisor for Environment, Hon. Audu Atanda and Supervisor, Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hon. Olayinka Bampede.
