The Chairman of Agbado-Okeodo Local Council Development Area, Mr. David Famuyiwa has demonstrated the significant impact that strong leadership can have on a nation, state, or community during his three years as Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA.

The transformation under his leadership has been remarkable, with the initial situation being vastly different from the present state. Despite this, there are individuals who falsely criticize him, spreading lies and baseless claims on social media.

During the 5th Empowerment Programme held at the Council Secretariat, the Chairman defended his administration against critics and extended an invitation for them to visit the community and witness the improvements in infrastructure.

Famuyiwa emphasized that prior to his tenure, the Council Secretariat was in poor condition over the past 20 years. He stated that the Council Area has significantly improved under his leadership, and the positive changes are visible to everyone.

Critics of Famuyiwa ignore the evident progress made during his administration, such as improvements in the road network and the modernization of the Council Secretariat.

They fail to acknowledge the positive changes, like the educational empowerment programs benefitting hundreds of students each year and the economic contributions of the youth and adults who have participated in various empowerment initiatives.

Despite this, Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA stands out as one of the top local government areas in Lagos State for its efforts in empowering its residents.

They also would not notice the numerous graded roads, both completed and ongoing, some of which had never been graded before.

It should be noted that the title “Mr Project” given to Famuyiwa was earned through his many projects. Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA has never experienced such extensive infrastructure development under any Council Chairman in its over 20-year history.

The ceremony concluded with 250 individuals receiving a cash sum of #20,000 each as part of the Council Mayor’s initiative to alleviate the hardships faced by the nation.
