The administration of Mr Segun Odumbaku has promised that grassroots healthcare services will soon be expanded in the Agidingbi axis in Ojodu Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.

The current structure of the Agidingbi Primary Health Centre (PHC) will be undergoing a major expansion following the acquisition of an additional land adjacent to the current facility by Ojodu LCDA.

“This strategic expansion is aimed at addressing the growing healthcare needs of the Agidingbi community and its environs.

“The new land acquisition will enable the PHC to enhance its service delivery, improve patient care, and accommodate a larger number of patients.” Segun Odunmbaku stated.

Echonews reports that according to World Health Organization PHC is critical to make health systems more resilient to situations of crisis, more proactive in detecting early signs of epidemics and more prepared to act early in response to surges in demand for services.

The major expansion will help cater for more people in the community and give adequate health measure to those in need.
