Ejigbo Local Council Development Area First Lady Alhaja Fatimah Bello Obe Host the committee of Lagos state council chairman’s wives Association (LASCCWA) and empower the women of the three Local Governments.
Alhaja Fatima said in her opening remarks that the initiatives was brought on board by her since 2017, while the aim was nothing than to give back to the society instead of taking the goodies back home, we empower our women and give back to them, because they stood by our husband during election period.
She emphasized the criteria’s of the beneficiaries was picked randomly in the three Local government, Isolo LCDA, Ejigbo LCDA and Oshodi Isolo Local Government, from religions communities, Artisans, NYCN, Communities Development Associations and market women. Our husbands have been the major source of this initiatives our advice to the beneficiaries is they shouldn’t sell it because whenever a woman is empowered we belief we’ve empower a nation, it should be utilize very well so that it can bring many more to them and the family at all level.
The chairman of Isolo LCDA Mr Olasoju Adebayo, in his remark said it’s a season of giving and making people happy,this has been what we have been doing and as we can see today is a combine effort of good shoot from Isolo, Ejigbo and Oshodi, many things like freezer to support businesses, sewing machines to trade women who are endowed, palliatives in terms of cash and food item, we belief and pray that people who are given these items will make use of it in a Judicious way and we admonish not to sell but use it for proper use.
Mrs. Abosede a beneficiary from Oshodi Isolo local government said a big thanks to the wives of the chairmen in Lagos State, we really appreciate their form of given back to us, may God Almighty bless them and their families, another beneficiary from Ejigbo Mrs Esther kilani said “Obe and his wife have been doing great things before, this is not their first time, we say a very big thanks to all the donor and we promise to make use of it Judiciously.
