The chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has felicitated the Muslim community in Oshodi on the eid el fitri celebration.
Oloyede while felicitating the Muslims for witnessing the end of month of Ramadan and celebrating the eid fitri, urged them to imbibe teachings therein in the blessed month.
The council boss in a congratulatory message, wishes the Muslims a peaceful celebration and advised a continued maintenance of peaceful coexistence as exemplified during the month.
He also called for concerted effort in building a continued peaceful Oshodi, saying the government will continue to do its utmost best in maintaining orderliness in the council.
The council boss also urged the residents to keep fate in the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the economy is picking gradually and assured a stable and sustainable economy will be achieved in the country.
He said the pallatives carried out by his administration and that of the Lagos state governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu are geared towards easing the hitherto harsh economy on the residents, promising that his government will continue to work for the betterment of the council.
“I, on behalf of government and people of Oshodi-Isolo local government felicitate the Muslims community on the occasion of this year’s eid el fitri, I say a hearty congratulations to all.
As we celebrate this eid, let’s not forget the messages and teachings of the month of Ramadan, let’s imbibe them in our daily activities. If all the tenets are adhered to, we will continue to witness development and peaceful domains.
“I also enjoin our valued residents to keep fate in the government and pray for the success our President to continue to get it right and bring Nigeria back on the path of prosperous nations. The economy is picking now, let’s keep supporting the government at all levels. Your prayers are the oil that lubricates and keep any government going stronger and successful, let’s keep the prayers on as they remain bedrock of government”, he concluded.
