Covid-19 Isolo LCDA continues community fumigation

In other to solidify previous efforts to prevent the spread of the dreaded Covid-19 pandemic from entering Isolo community, the local council authority has continued to fumigate public places.

 

Last week, it was reported that the council Chairman, Hon. Shamsudeen Olaleye disinfected numerous public places in the council area which include the palace of Osolo of Isolo, Aswani International Market and also shared not less than 3,500 hand sanitizers to the residents of the community.

 

The exercise, according to the council boss, “is one of our humble measures to curtail the spread of Coronavirus in our council area. We have sensitized the populace on the menace of this dreaded disease and the various ways to curtail it’s spread.”

 

He added: “Now we have followed it up by distributing hand sanitizers to our people to help them promote personal hygiene which we hope would help in no small measure at stopping the spread of Corona Virus.”

 

Complementing these efforts, the decontamination exercise had, this week, been extended to more public places in the locality, which include Aswani Police Station, Isolo Primary Health Centre, Ire-Akari Primary Health Centre, Ire-Akari Police Post, Okota Police Station, Okota Primary Health Centre and Oluwalotoshopefun Mosque.
