The secretary to the Local Government, Badagry West LCDA, Hon. Gusanu Sovi, has disclosed that the council has decided to construct a perimeter fence round the council secretariat.
He said the enclosure is needed to help secure the land and prevent unauthorized access to the site.
Sovi noted that the decision to build the fence is also to prevent soil erosion while controlling the sediment flow.
He said the council chairman is prioritizing the interest and welfare of the people of the council area which is evident in the series of projects he has delivered in the community so far.
He appealed to residents to continue to support the council by disclosing their needs and maintaining previously executed projects in their community for development and diversity to take place in the area.
