The Chairman of Last Building Community Development Association (CDA), Ajao Estate, Apostle Ossy Onyiaorah, has appealed to the new chairman of Isolo LCDA, Otunba Adebayo Olasoju to help complete the abandoned streetlight project on Baale Shekoni Street.

He said the light would serve as security to curb the menace of pickpocketing and open sexual activity by hoodlums.

Onyiaorah explained that the street lightening is a state government project, which was part of the plan when the road was constructed.

However, the project was left uncompleted after providing the poles which, he said, were left unpowered.

He explained that residents have been living in fear as hoodlums take advantage of the darkness to perpetrate their evil acts and obscene activities at night in the community.

He also raised concern over the damage done to the recently constructed Lukmon Atobajeun Street by the workers laying fibre optic cables on the street and appealed for the rehabilitation of New World Street to decongest traffic on the road.

The CDA chairman urged the new council boss to tour the community to have first-hand experience about the status of the infrastructures.
