Breaking: BRT Bus Catches Fire on Ogudu-Ifako Bridge

A BRT bus is currently on fire on Ogudu-Ifako Ifako bridge which has led to traffic gridlock outward Ogudu via Ketu.

As at the time of filing this story, the Lagos State fire service and rescue team were already at the scene to put out the fire.

Also at the scene were officials of the State Traffic Management Authority LASTMA.

They had since stopped all vehicles transiting to prevent spread of the fire.

Also, a Danfo bus had an accident earlier on same spot and the vehicle is yet to be removed.

Motorists had been advised take alternative routes and exercise patience while the fire is being put out.
