Bad roads are major challenge to egg business – Adewale

A major egg distributor in Oshodi, Mrs. Taiwo Adewale, has identified bad roads as the major challenge to the business, saying that cracking of eggs during transportation leads to financial losses.

According to her, despite being fragile, egg distribution business is naturally lucrative but the state of the major roads and streets are making the business unprofitable.

She commented: “Our roads are not friendly to egg business. I move like a turtle in my car while supplying eggs, yet I record cracks.”

She therefore appealed to the governments both at the state and local levels to intensify effort to make roads in Oshodi accessible for many businesses to thrive.

She added that fixing the roads would also decongest traffic, reduce stress and address the issues of minor road mishaps.
