APC Commences Party Membership E-Registration Nationwide

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the commencement of its Party Membership E-Registration Exercise as part of efforts to strengthen its internal structure and enhance credible participation within the party.
According to the announcement, the exercise will begin on January 5, 2025, and is open to both existing members and individuals intending to join the party.
Eligible participants are required to present two mandatory documents for registration: a valid National Identification Number (NIN) and a Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC). The party stressed that registration will not be conducted without a valid NIN, adding that only individuals who successfully complete the process will be officially recognised as card-carrying members of the APC.
Party members who are yet to obtain their NIN and PVC have been urged to do so promptly ahead of the exercise to avoid exclusion.
The APC noted that the e-registration initiative forms part of its ongoing reforms aimed at strengthening party structures, deepening internal democracy, and ensuring transparent and credible participation across all levels of the party.
The exercise is expected to improve the accuracy of the party’s membership database while positioning the APC for more efficient organisation and engagement nationwide.
