Descendants of Abeokuta in Isolo and the neighbouring Mushin Community under the aegis of Abeokuta Descendants Union of Nigeria (ADUN) today paid a courtesy and familiarization visit to the chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Adebayo Olasoju.
The visitation, according to the National Leading President of the union, Alhaja Saidat Adejumo, was borne out of the need to formally congratulate and identify with Olasoju whom she described as a true son of the soil who epitomizes the leadership traits and moral virtues that the Egbas symbolizes, following his emergence as the party’s candidate in the coming election.
This was supported with the presentation of congratulatory letter to Olasoju as well as Hon. Olanrewaju Kayode and Hon. Akeem Adeyemi the councillorship candidates of Alagbeji and Ilasamaja Wards who are also Egba descendants.

He, however, sought the continuous supports of the union as he urged them to join hands in working for his victory on Saturday, July 24, stressing that “all hands must be on deck to achieve the Isolo of our dream.”
