Laughter Incorporated Ventures has announced that the grand finale of the 2026 edition of Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka & Friends will hold on Sunday, November 15, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event, tagged “Lagos Gets the Last Laugh,” is scheduled to begin at 3pm and will bring the curtain down on a tour that has visited Ibadan, Akure, Calgary, London, Ontario, Toronto and Abeokuta.

For comedian and entertainer Gbenga Adeyinka 1st, GCON, the Lagos finale represents a homecoming to the city that played a significant role in shaping his entertainment career more than three decades ago.

The organisers said the event will celebrate his journey in the industry while bringing together comedy, music, culture and fashion in an evening of entertainment.

### A New Season of Laughter

Themed “The Next Chapter: A New Season of Laughter,” the grand finale will also mark the close of the Laffmattazz tour’s 15th anniversary year, alongside more than three decades of Adeyinka’s career in entertainment.

According to the organisers, the Lagos edition is being planned as the biggest outing of the tour, offering an opportunity to celebrate the comedy brand’s journey and look ahead to its next phase.

The event is expected to feature a blend of comedy, music, culture and fashion, although the full programme and participating artistes are yet to be announced.

### FirstBank Backs 2026 Tour

FirstBank is the lead sponsor and official tour partner of Laffmattazz 2026.

Laughter Incorporated Ventures acknowledged the bank’s support for the tour across Nigeria and Canada, describing its partnership as instrumental to taking the production to different audiences and staging the Lagos finale.

With preparations underway, the organisers have also opened discussions with prospective sponsors and brand partners interested in supporting the event.

Available partnership opportunities include audience engagement, hospitality, on-site activations and campaign visibility before, during and after the grand finale.

The organisers said the event provides brands with an opportunity to connect with audiences through comedy and shared cultural experiences.
