Young entrepreneurs with innovative ideas in the cashew industry can apply for the 2026 e-MOVE AgriCanvas Competition, which offers an opportunity to receive up to €2,000 in direct business funding or essential equipment to support their agribusiness ventures.

The competition, organised by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH through its MOVE-ComCashew and Agri-Business Facility for Africa projects, aims to help emerging agripreneurs transform their ideas into investment-ready, climate-smart businesses.

The initiative focuses on strengthening the cashew value chain, encouraging sustainable agricultural practices and supporting businesses capable of improving rural livelihoods and creating economic opportunities.

What the e-MOVE Competition Offers

Selected winners can receive one of the following forms of support:

  • €2,000 in direct funding to develop or expand their businesses.
  • Business equipment, including a laptop, tablet or software, to improve operations and productivity.

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must reside in a member state of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), including Nigeria.
