6,300 Women Took Part in 2025 COWLSO Conference as Organisers Target Bigger Turnout This Year
The 2025 National Women’s Conference organised by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) attracted 6,300 participants, underscoring the growing reach and influence of the annual gathering.
According to figures published by COWLSO, 3,870 participants attended physically, while another 2,430 joined virtually, giving a combined participation of 6,300 women.
The 2025 conference also featured four panel discussions, providing platforms for conversations around issues affecting women, families, leadership and society.
With preparations for the 2026 COWLSO National Women’s Conference gathering momentum, there are expectations that this year’s participation could surpass the previous figure, as the conference continues to attract women from different backgrounds and locations.
The anticipated increase is expected to come from both physical and virtual participation, reflecting the growing use of digital platforms to extend the reach of the conference beyond Lagos.
