MFM Chorale Returns With Two Gold Medals as Sanwo-Olu Joins Homecoming Celebration

The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) has celebrated the Mountain Top Chorale after its impressive performance at the 2026 World Choir Games in Helsingborg, Sweden, where the choir won two gold medals.
The achievement was celebrated during a special homecoming and thanksgiving concert attended by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his wife, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.
The event brought together members of the ministry, guests and music lovers to celebrate the chorale’s success and its contribution to promoting Nigerian choral music on the international stage.
Speaking at the celebration, Sanwo-Olu congratulated MFM and expressed his delight at being part of the homecoming.
“I want to say how truly proud I am of the headquarters of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, to the place where the children of God are doing wonders,” the governor said.
He also appreciated the church for hosting the celebration and acknowledged the leadership of the ministry.
The latest achievement adds to the Mountain Top Chorale’s growing record at international competitions. The choir also won two gold medals at the 2024 World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand.
The 2026 performance further highlighted the chorale’s discipline, teamwork and musical excellence, with the homecoming providing an opportunity to honour the choristers for their achievement.
The celebration featured musical performances, praise and thanksgiving as the ministry welcomed the chorale home from Sweden.
The achievement also underscored MFM’s continued efforts to develop musical talents and promote choral music as an expression of worship and thanksgiving.
