I Sing Better Than Burna Boy, Nissi Declares

Nigerian singer Nissi has sparked an interesting comparison with her brother, Grammy winning artiste Burna Boy, after declaring that she considers herself a better singer than the African Giant.

Nissi made the claim during an interview with Cool FM, where she said Burna Boy also agrees that she has the stronger singing ability between them.

According to her, while she believes she is better at singing and “almost everything,” Burna Boy has the edge when it comes to rap.

“I am better than Burna Boy at singing and almost everything. He is only better than me at rapping. We both actually agreed on the fact that I was a better singer,” she said.

Nissi began her music career in September 2016 with the release of her debut single, Pay Attention. She has since released several songs and projects and worked with artistes including Olamide and Fireboy DML.

Beyond music, Nissi has also built a career in engineering and design. She was reportedly part of the Jaguar Land Rover engineering team involved in designing and assembling the 2023 Range Rover model.

She also designed the 2022 Havana Club X Burna project, which won the Most Innovative Product award at Paris Packaging Week 2023.
