Lagos Refrees Dominates 2026 TCC Best Referee Awards

Lagos State referees, Ese Williams and Kehinde Azeez has been recognised for their strong performances throughout the The Creative Championship (TCC) 2025/26 season after finishing as winner and 1st runner-up in the TCC Referee of the Year Award.
The duo of Williams and Azeez were exceptional in their officiating at the private tournament while the organizers rewarded their professionalism with merit awards and financial tokens.
Williams received ₦750,000 while Azeez got ₦500,000 for his consistent and impressive officiating. While Ogun State’s Azeez Muideen Adeyemi completed the podium in third place with ₦250,000.
The awards recognized TCC’s commitment to reward the vital role match officials play in maintaining the integrity, quality and professionalism of the league, alongside the players and teams who excel on the pitch.
Beyond Limits won the TCC 2025/26 season with 59 points in 22 matches with 17 points clear of second place Atlantic Business.
Bolaji Abdulrahman 59th minute strike sealed the TCC Super Cup win for Atlantic City against Beyond Limits at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.
The TCC Super Cup serves as the curtain raiser for the new TCC 2026/27 season expected to kickoff with defending champions, Beyond Limits begin their title defense against Valiant FC in Ikenne.
