Role Overview
The Videographer will play an important role in Ramos Realty’s marketing and content production efforts by creating engaging videos that showcase properties and support the company’s brand and sales objectives.
The role will involve shooting property walkthroughs, promotional videos and other creative content, as well as editing footage into polished videos suitable for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and property-listing websites.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Shoot high-quality property walkthroughs, promotional videos and other real estate content.
- Capture drone footage for property marketing when required.
- Plan, film and edit video content for marketing campaigns.
- Turn raw footage into engaging, professional and platform-ready videos.
- Collaborate with real estate brokers and other team members on creative concepts and shot lists.
- Produce content tailored to social media and other digital platforms.
- Apply strong visual storytelling techniques to communicate property features effectively.
- Set up, operate and maintain cameras, lighting, audio and other production equipment.
- Ensure completed projects meet quality standards and agreed deadlines.
Requirements and Skills
Applicants should possess the following:
- Proven experience in videography or cinematography.
- A strong portfolio showcasing previous video-production work.
- Excellent video-editing skills.
- Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar software.
- Knowledge of professional camera and smartphone videography.
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition and visual storytelling.
- Good attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work independently and deliver projects within deadlines.
- Experience with drone videography will be an added advantage.
- Ability to properly operate, maintain and care for video-production equipment.
- Experience in real estate, property, lifestyle or related content production will be an advantage.
Previous creative videographer openings at Ramos Realty have also indicated HND, BSc or an equivalent qualification as an educational requirement, while skills in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and CapCut have been highlighted.
Candidates who own production equipment such as a camera, gimbal/stabiliser and basic lighting equipment may also have an advantage.
