Steps Applicants Must Take to Get Lagos Scholarship

The Lagos State Scholarship Board has outlined key steps applicants for the 2025/2026 Lagos State Scholarship Awards must take as they prepare for the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Applicants who participated in the recent indigene verification exercise are advised to follow these instructions:

(1) Check your email regularly

Watch your email for the official CBT invitation containing the examination date, venue and other requirements.
Read the examination instructions carefully.

(2) Applicants should understand all instructions before commencing the CBT.

(3) Arrive at the venue early
Candidates are advised to get to their designated CBT centres early to avoid delays.

(4) Dress appropriately
Applicants are expected to dress decently and maintain orderly conduct throughout the exercise.

(5) Follow officials’ instructions
Candidates must comply with all directives from CBT officials before and during the examination.

(6) Do not bring prohibited materials
Applicants should not take unauthorised materials or electronic devices into the examination hall.

(7) Avoid examination malpractice
Any candidate caught cheating or impersonating another person risks disqualification and possible referral to security authorities.

(8) Beware of fraudsters
Applicants have been warned not to pay anyone claiming they can secure the scholarship for them. The Board said it has not authorised anyone to collect payment in exchange for participation or selection.

The Board urged applicants to rely only on its official communication channels for information about the scholarship process.
