Sports World Celebrates Rasaq Ajala

The Sports World celebrates the immediate past chairman of OdiOlowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Mr Rasaq Ajala for his contributions to the development of football in the grassroots and professionally.

Ajala who’s known to be an advocate for the development of football and sports as he pioneered the OdiOlowo Chairman’s Cup and OdiOlowo Sport Fiesta in OdiOlowo Ojuwoye LCDA has further cemented his status as a sport vibrant administrator and leader.

He further strengthened football and sports by sponsoring youngsters to the Gothia Cup in Sweden where it finally yielded positives as SKF Nigeria Eagles won the Gothia Cup in 2025.

Ajibade FA head coach, Taiwo Ajagunna commended Ajala for his steadfastness towards the progress and success of sport which has inspired more kids to take football as a career.

Coach Akanni Emmanuel of HB Utility admitted he’s a beneficiary of Ajala sport initiatives which has supported the growth of grassroots football.

Rainbow FA coach, Emmanuel Damidayoku described Ajala as a significant role model and mentor who prioritized the development of sports.

Captain of Ghetto Tigers U13, Bayyan Ilori poured encomium on Ajala for spearheading the growth of grassroots football in OdiOlowo Ojuwoye LCDA to the delight of the youngsters.

Opemipo Ibrahim, Captain of Ghetto Tigers U15 admitted that Ajala has played a pivotal role in the minds of grassroots players and he will forever be their hero.

Ruth Origbo, skipper of Ghetto Tigers women’s team stated that the positive impacts of Ajala in sports will forever be inked in their memory.

While Ridwan Yusuf, captain of Ghetto Tigers senior men’s classified Ajala as the hope of grassroots footballers to make it on the biggest stage.
