Super Falcons: Rasheedat Ajibade Tasks Teammates To Improve Collectively

Nigeria skipper, Rasheedat Ajibade has asked her teammates to reflect on the team’s recent misfortunes and work harder.

South Africa ended Nigeria’s World Cup dream by defeating Africa giants 2-0 in the World Cup playoffs at the Moulay Rachid Stadium, Casablanca.

In spite of the situation of the team, Ajibade is grateful for the lessons learnt, she however urged her teammates not to relax but strive hard to reclaim their status as the best team in Africa.

She emphasized that the Falcons accepts the consequences of their actions and will return to the drawing board to get better while the players should fix up their errors.

“My biggest lesson is just gratitude to be honest, I’m just grateful,” she said.

“We shouldn’t relax, we understand how tight the situation is, we know we are not more invincible again. So anybody is beatable.

“We just need to prepare more and get better and demand more of ourselves individually and collectively.”

Nigeria will begin their quest to qualify for the 2028 Olympics qualifiers in October as only two Africa countries will be at the multi sport event.
