SJ OdiOlowo Chairman’s Cup Matchday Four Delivers Thrilling Results

Matchday Four of the SJ OdiOlowo Chairman’s Cup produced a mix of high-scoring drama, stubborn draws and dominant performances across the age-group and women’s categories.
In the U19 category, Strong Dove and Unification FA shared the points in a hard-fought 2-2 draw. Both sides traded blows in an entertaining contest that left neither able to claim full spoils.
The U8 category delivered two tight, goal-filled affairs. FC Phoenix edged Ajibade FA 5-4 in a nine-goal thriller that kept spectators on the edge of their seats until the final whistle. Meanwhile, Varsity FA and Strong Dove played out a 1-1 stalemate, underlining the competitiveness at the youngest level of the competition.
The U15 category produced contrasting results. Mighty Warriors were ruthless, thrashing Kop FC 16-0 in a one-sided demolition. In the other U15 fixture, Ghetto Tigers FC claimed a solid 3-1 victory over Lily Legend, continuing their strong showing.
In the women’s category, Unification Ladies maintained their authority with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Victory Queens, keeping a clean sheet and extending their impressive form.
The results leave several sides with momentum heading into the next round of fixtures, while others will look to bounce back quickly in what remains an unpredictable and entertaining tournament.
