The drive to rebuild lives and restore dignity took centre stage in Ajah as Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu led a high-impact outreach to the Tajudeen Olusi Rehabilitation and Vocational Training Centre.

Hosted by the Executive Chairman of Eti-Osa East LCDA, Biliaminu Samson Agunbiade, the visit underscored a growing commitment to grassroots-driven empowerment. The First Lady, alongside members of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials, presented home initiative equipment to rehabilitees, tools designed not just for skill-building, but for real-life transformation.

The atmosphere reflected a strong synergy between state leadership and community governance, with council executives on ground to reinforce the importance of inclusive development at the local level.

The initiative, powered by the COWLSO School Committee under the leadership of Oluremi Hamzat, drew a distinguished gathering. Among them were respected statesman Tajudeen Olusi, Abiodun Orekoya, and Oluwatoyin Oke-Osanyintolu, whose presence highlighted the broader institutional backing for rehabilitation-focused programmes.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Sanwo-Olu emphasised that empowerment remains a cornerstone of sustainable rehabilitation. According to her, providing practical tools and vocational support equips beneficiaries with more than skills—it offers a pathway to independence, renewed confidence, and meaningful reintegration into society.

Through consistent interventions like this, COWLSO continues to position itself as a vital force in Lagos State’s social development space, championing initiatives that uplift vulnerable groups and create opportunities for lasting change.
