DNA Test Looms as Portable Asks Ex-Wife to Bring Son

Nollywood actor, Portable, has asked his ex-wife, Fatimo Momoh, to bring their son to him amid a dispute over paternity and responsibility.

This follows allegations by Fatimo that the actor had abandoned her and their 10 year old son, Mahbub, for several years.

Reacting in a video shared on his Instagram page, Portable urged her to bring the child to Abeokuta, where he currently resides.

He stated that he is willing to take full responsibility for the child’s upbringing, including education and welfare, if it is confirmed that he is the biological father.

“Fatima, I’m the one that did Mahbub’s naming ceremony when he was born. And if you’re very sure that I’m his biological father, if you’re double sure that if I decide to do a DNA test, the result won’t prove otherwise, bring him down to Ogun State tomorrow,” he said.

“I’m not scared of taking responsibility for the child. Bring my son to me in Abeokuta if truly I’m the father,” he added.

The development has sparked reactions on social media, with many weighing in on the dispute between the actor and his former partner.
