The Chairman of the Lagos State Football Association, Gafar Liameed, has described the upcoming football competition as more than just a sporting event, emphasising its deep cultural and developmental significance for the state.

Speaking to the Press, Gafar said the tournament embodies the values and aspirations of Lagos State culture, tradition and sporting success.

“This competition represents more than football; it reflects our culture, our unity, and our vision for the future of the game in Lagos. We are committed to delivering a well-organised tournament that will continue to discover talents and inspire the next generation.”

Gafar highlighted that the competition is designed not only to provide competitive football but also to serve as a platform for unearthing new talents and motivating young players across the state.

He assured stakeholders, participating teams, and fans that the Lagos State Football Association remains fully dedicated to organising a seamless and impactful tournament that will leave a lasting positive legacy on the growth of football in Lagos.
