The 2026 Lagos FA Cup draw has been unveiled with a glamorous show and setting the stage for an exciting title defense by the reigning champions, Dannaz Ladies.
The Cedars, who clinched their maiden elite silverware in the competition by edging out Unification Ladies 1-0 in the 2025 final at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, will kick off their campaign against Ghetto Tigers Ladies.
In other key matchups, former champions Robo Queens are drawn up against Asisat Oshoala Academy (AOA) as they aim to push toward the semifinals.
Newbies, Dynamite Queens will lock horns with DreamStar Ladies for a coveted spot in the last four.
Meanwhile, last year’s runners-up and potential dark horses, Unification Ladies, take on Phoenix Queens in a bid to return to the semifinal stage.
The Lagos FA Cup, originally launched in 1918 as the Lagos War Memorial Cup, holds the distinction of being Nigeria’s oldest cup competition, carrying a rich legacy of passion and pride in Lagos football.
