Akinloye Swears in New Eredo LCDA Team
Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has officially sworn in a fresh cohort of officials, including the Secretary to the LCDA (SLG), Supervisors, and Special Advisers.
The ceremony, held at the Eredo LCDA council secretariat, drew political leaders, community stakeholders, and residents, all witnessing the appointees pledge their oaths of office and allegiance. The newly inaugurated team is tasked with supporting the chairman’s agenda to enhance service delivery and drive transformative projects across the council area.
Addressing the appointees, Akinloye called on them to approach their roles with integrity, diligence, and a strong people‑first orientation. He emphasised that their contributions are vital to advancing accountability, good governance, and grassroots development in Eredo, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to inclusive growth, infrastructure upgrades, and community welfare initiatives.
Among those sworn in, Opetuga Olamilekan Bayo, the new Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, expressed gratitude for the appointment and pledged to actively support the council’s mission. The appointees collectively vowed to collaborate closely to improve local services and implement strategic initiatives that directly impact residents’ daily lives.
Under Akinloye’s leadership, Eredo LCDA has witnessed sustained efforts in road rehabilitation, educational and healthcare improvements, and community development programs. The inauguration of this new executive team marks a decisive step toward strengthening governance capacity, mobilising resources, and deepening engagement with the community.
