Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko, Council Leader of the 6th Legislature, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has called on eligible residents of Abosan Ward C1 to actively participate in the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) membership e-registration exercise, describing it as a critical step towards strengthening the party’s grassroots structure.
The APC e-registration exercise, which runs daily from 8:00am to 6:00pm, is open to residents aged 18 years and above who possess valid National Identification Numbers (NIN) and Permanent Voter Cards (PVC).
According to the ward schedule, the registration is being conducted across multiple locations within Abosan Ward C1 to ensure accessibility and wider participation. The exercise commenced on January 21 and continues on January 22, 2026, at Wagbare Pineapple Estate, Igbogbo. It will move to Awobo Estate, Omo Onile Bus-Stop, Igbogbo, on January 23, 2026, and conclude on January 24, 2026, at the Abosan Ward Secretariat, Aiyegbami.
Banjoko noted that the initiative is aimed at promoting inclusive political participation, strengthening party structures at the ward level, and ensuring that eligible residents are duly captured in the party’s membership database.
She encouraged youths, women, and community stakeholders to take advantage of the exercise, stressing that active participation at the grassroots is essential to building a more responsive and people-driven political structure.
According to her, the APC e-registration exercise provides an opportunity for residents to formally identify with the party, contribute to its growth, and play more active roles in shaping governance and development within their communities.
