‘Portable Helped My Life’ – Kolu Appeals to Carter Efe for ₦7m Bail

Popular media personality and content creator, Kolu, has appealed to fellow entertainer, Carter Efe, for a ₦7 million loan to help secure the release of singer, Portable, from prison.
Kolu made the appeal on Thursday during a live session with Carter Efe on Twitch. Explaining his concern for the embattled singer, Kolu said Portable played a key role in his rise to fame by bringing him to Lagos and giving him the exposure that changed his life.
Speaking in Pidgin, Kolu said: “Portable brought me to Lagos, I come blow. Na him help my life.”
DAILY POST reports that Portable was remanded in prison on Tuesday by the Federal High Court sitting in Ota, Ogun State, over allegations of car theft and assault involving his baby mama, Ashabi Simple.
The singer was also reportedly handcuffed and assaulted while in police custody.
