LWC Management Commends MD Mukhtaar Tijani for Exemplary Leadership
The senior management staff of the Lagos Water Corporation (LWC) have lauded the corporation’s Managing Director, Engr. Mukhtaar Temitope Tijani (MTT), for his visionary and transformative leadership, which they described as instrumental to the organisation’s ongoing reforms and operational excellence.
The commendation was made during the closing session of a three-day advanced training programme titled “High-Impact Leadership Training Workshop: Building a Ready Utility Company,” held from October 14 to 16, 2025. The programme was designed to strengthen leadership capacity and prepare LWC’s strategic team for sustainable growth and innovation.
Speaking on behalf of the management team, the Director of Inventory, Mr. Idowu Rilwan Adenekan, expressed the collective appreciation of staff to Engr. Tijani for his dedication, innovation, and commitment to service delivery.
He noted that Tijani’s leadership style has inspired creativity, teamwork, and excellence across the corporation. “His visionary strategies have fueled LWC’s remarkable transformation and encouraged the team to think beyond conventional limits,” Adenekan said.
He added that the lessons drawn from the workshop would drive meaningful change through strategic thinking, innovation, and improved team performance—key ingredients for ensuring the corporation remains responsive to public needs in a rapidly evolving environment.
Adenekan also extended gratitude to the facilitators of the training Mr. Tokunbo Adeboye, Mrs. Funmi Adegoke, and Dr. Dapo Omojola of Sales Force Multidynamics Limited for their contributions to the programme’s success.
“Your leadership and insights during this High-Impact Leadership Training have been immensely appreciated,” he said.
