I Never Imagined Reaching 40 Without Marriage — Don Jazzy

Mavin Records founder and ace music producer, Don Jazzy, has spoken candidly about the one aspect of his life he never anticipated would play out the way it has.
In a recent appearance on the Echo Podcast, the 42-year-old revealed that while building a groundbreaking career in music, marriage is the one thing he feels he may have let slip by.
“I never thought I would be 40-something and not be married. Maybe that’s the one I lost. If it comes, it comes. If it doesn’t, I’m totally fine,” he admitted.
Don Jazzy also shared that if he wasn’t running Mavin Records, he would likely still be within the entertainment space — either as a performer or thriving as a digital influencer.
Known for discovering and grooming some of Nigeria’s biggest music exports such as Tiwa Savage, Rema, and Ayra Starr, Don Jazzy said he remains fulfilled, proud, and grateful for the legacy he has already built in the industry.
