U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifier: Falconets Crush Rwanda, Advance To Final Round

Nigeria U20 Women’s Football team crushed Rwanda 4-0 to zoom into the final round of the U20 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The Falconets had defeated the Rwandans by a lone goal in the first leg in Kigali thereby winning 5-0 on aggregate with the 4-0 second leg win.
Precious Oscar, Tumininu Adeshina, Janet Akekeromowei and Taiwo Afolabi for on the score sheet for the Falconets.
Oscar got on to a fantastic solo run assist from Janet to give Nigeria the lead in the 13th minute.
Seven minutes late, Adeshina scored a wonder strike to double the Falconets lead in the first half.
Influential forward, Janet dribbled her way to send a powerful left footed strike from 25 yards out which deflected off the Rwanda goalkeeper to extend Nigeria lead in the 60th minute.
Daughter of the soil, Afolabi kept her cool to round up a dominant display with the fourth goal in the 90th minute.
The Falconets are through to the final round of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifier with a yet to be announced opponent.
