Akinmoyo Promises Explosive Bet9ja Ibeju-Lekki Cup

The inaugural Bet9ja Ibeju-Lekki Cup is set to kick off this month, with 23 teams already registered and confirmed to participate.
According to Victor Akinmoyo, the chairman of the organizing committee, the tournament has garnered significant interest, with more than 20 teams registering within the first two weeks.
“We have 23 teams registered and confirmed for the competition,” Akinmoyo stated. “We’re targeting 32 teams, so there are still a few slots available for interested clubs.”
Akinmoyo, who also serves as the Leader of the Ibeju-Lekki Football Coaches Council, promised that the tournament would be a major event for the Ibeju-Lekki community and its surroundings. He assured all participating teams of fair officiating and a smooth, well-organized competition.
Among the teams already registered are Amuludun FA (Ikorodu), Golden Star FC (Badore Ajah), Sunrise FC (Elepete Phase 1), and De Ultimate Soccer Academy (Awoyaya, Ibeju Lekki). The list of confirmed teams also includes Zion FC (Badore Ajah), FC Middlewell (Lagos Island), and Achievers Diamond FC (Ogombo), among others from various communities.
