Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has issued a strong response to social media activist Verydarkman, who accused her of withdrawing from an agreement to publicly apologize to Naira Marley and Sam Larry.

Verydarkman claimed that the agreement was made during a roundtable discussion at the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre, attended by Iyabo Ojo, Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and Tonto Dikeh, along with their legal representatives.

Iyabo Ojo rejected Verydarkman’s accusations, calling them manipulative and untruthful. She described him as cunning and misleading.

She defended her decision to speak out, explaining that she had sincere reasons for criticizing Naira Marley and Sam Larry over their alleged connection to the death of singer Mohbad.

As a mother of two, she pointed to troubling videos and online reports that surfaced after Mohbad’s death. These included footage showing Sam Larry allegedly mocking the late singer and engaging in physical assault, which reinforced her belief in the bullying allegations.

“Verydarkman, I saw your video, and I know why you made those videos. I’m sure the NCCC has called to tell you that I’ve petitioned them, so you had to come out and do your normal manipulative tactics.

“I am a very wise woman. I know when to fight, when to listen and when to speak, unlike you who speak from both sides of the mouth and people should stop taking you seriously.

“I was invited by NCCC. I was on my way to Tanzania for Priscilla’s wedding and I saw the letter. I’ve never seen Naira Marley before. I just help promote his songs on my platform.

“I saw a video of Naira Marley dancing after Mohbad’s death. I was angry.

“I also saw Sam Larry’s video where he harassed Zlatan Ibile and Mohbad. That was when I believed the bullying allegations. As a concerned citizen and mother, I used my platforms,” she said.
