Lagos Arrests 43 Environmental Law Violators In Ikeja

The Lagos State Governent is set to prosecute 43 suspects over allegations of contravening the stipulated environmental laws in the area.
The state’s Environmental Taskforce agency on Tuesday, embarked a clean up operation at Agidigbi area of the state’s capital to further get rid of criminal elements in the metropolis.
The arrestees which included 34 men and nine women were nabbed at Alausa CBD, NERDC Road, Alhaja Ashabi Cole street, Agidingbi area in Ikeja and other adjoining streets where the presence of some undesirable elements such as Indian hemp, codeine and other narcotic substances were noticed and held as exhibits.
The government relayed that all suspects will be charged to court accordingly.
