In his continued bid to promote education, ensure seamless learning, and support parents, the Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, has welcomed pupils of the local government back to school with the distribution of school bags, exercise books, and customized pens.

The distribution initiative, which represents the first phase of this program, covered Folarami Primary School, Ago-Owu Primary School, Local Government Primary School, Temidire Primary School, all in the Shogunle Ward of the council area, as well as St. John Primary School.

Each pupil received a bag, exercise books, and pens, expressing their gratitude to the council chairman for his kind gesture in encouraging their education and supporting their parents.

The council chairman, represented by his Special Adviser on Education, Hon. Gideon Balagun, disclosed that other schools within the council area would also be visited, with the same items distributed to their pupils.

This initiative underscores the priority placed on education by the Oloyede-led administration in the council area.

It is worth noting that an ultra-modern two-storey building is currently under construction at St. Paul Primary School. Additionally, free UTME coaching sessions are ongoing, and free JAMB forms will soon be distributed to deserving students within the local government area.
