Council Chairman Condems Physical Attack On Residents In Ejigbo

The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Monsurudeen Bello, has bemoaned an occurrence of physical attack on four persons in the community.

The incident which happened in Agbo Ile area of the community was said to have caused the death of one of the casualties.

In a stern warning given by Bello who visited the area of the community on Saturday, the Chairman resoundingly said that perpetrators of the gruesome act will be brought to book to face capital punishment.

The council boss alongside security agencies, councilors, cabinet members and concerned community stakeholders, disclosed that aside the deceased victim, three others have been hospitalized.

At the scene, shantees were combed, and in the process, cartel of hard drugs traffickers were uncovered and marked for demolition with immediate effect.

Bello sympathized with the bereaved family, and wished the deceased eternal rest. He said: “I will not condone any form of atrocity in Ejigbo and all papetrators of this gruesome act must be unraveled and brought to book.

“This community will neither harbor nor allow bad eggs to rubbish its good image been known of.

“I hereby call on our people to speak out when they see a strange happening which can lead to community distress. The office of the DPO of Ejigbo LCDA ismeant for the entire people of Ejigbo to utilize when the need arises.
