_…commends the ongoing transformation process for the progress of the Corporation_
Trade Union Congress (TUC) of Nigeria, National Deputy President, Comrade Kayode Alakija has paid a brief courtesy visit to Lagos Water Corporation (LWC), today, Friday 6th December, 2024.
The TUC National Deputy President, who is also the President General of Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporations and Government Owned Companies (SSASCGOC), was received by the Corporation’s Executive Director (Operations), Engr (Mrs.) Helen Omolanke Taiwo in her Office at LWC Headquarters, Water-House, Ijora, Lagos.
Comrade Alakija, in his remarks, commended the LWC Management, led by the Managing Director, Engr. Mukhtaar Temitope Tijani (MTT), MNSE, FNIEE, ongoing transformation process for the progress of the Corporation.
He, however, assured the LWC’s management of the full support of SSASCGOC on the overall progress of the corporation and staff welfare.
In her swift response, the LWC ED, Operations appreciated the visit and also reaffirmed the LWC management’s commitment to staff welfare and the success of the corporation as a whole.
Also, in attendance were comrade Akanbi Ismail from Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), the LWC, Director (Administration & Human Resources) Mr. Hakeem Kosoko, and SSASCGOC branch Secretary, Comrade Alade Olawale.
