The Julius Berger Hall at the University of Lagos recently hosted the National Orientation Agency’s Lagos Zone Campus Debate and Capacity-Building Conference 2024, with the theme “7 for 7.” The event aimed to foster a balanced approach between government promises and citizens’ responsibilities in nation-building, promoting the National Values Charter.

 

 

A riveting debate unfolded during the conference, with representatives from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, emerging victorious over contestants from the University of Ibadan.

 

The victory earned LAUTECH the top spot in the Southwest Zone competition and secured their place in the grand finale, where they will vie for a grand prize of N20,000,000.

The engaging platform offered participants a valuable opportunity to identify and embrace the principles of the National Values Charter, encouraging practical actions and incorporation of these values into daily life.
