South African singer, Tyla Laura seethal popularly known as tyla appeared beautifully at the 30th MTV Europe Music Award in Manchester,United Kingdom on Sunday.
She was won three Awards. She also won against Nigerian stars like Asake, Arya Star, Tems, Rema, Burnaboy for the Best Afrobeats Artist Award category.
She also won the Best African Act Gong against Arya star, Asake, Diamond Platnumz, DBN Gogo.
Tyla won her third Award in the Best R&B category ahead of American superstar such as Kehlani, SZA, Tinashe, Usher, and Victoria Monét.
She wrapped up the night with a natural performance of her hit song “Water”. Earlier this year, She won the maiden Best African music performance category at the grammy. She also won the Best Afrobeats Artist category ahead of Nigerian artist at the 2024 MTV Music Video Award.
