Bursary: Epe LG Boss Empowers Students

Epe Local Government Chairman, Princess Olayemi Animashaun, has launched a new bursary program aimed at supporting indigent undergraduate students from the area.

The initiative, which was unveiled at the LG secretariat, seeks to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder students’ academic pursuits.

During the launch, Animashaun emphasized the significance of education in shaping the future of Epe and expressed her commitment to providing opportunities for all students.

“This bursary program is a testament to our dedication to empowering the youth of our community,” she said.

The initiative was commended by major stakeholders in the community and the Youth Representative, Rahmon Saheed hailed Animashaun for her leadership skills and dedication to provide educational sponsorship relief to indigent students and parents.

Education Secretary, Shittu Aliu also praised the council boss for her commitment and dedication to educational development.

Renowned educator Comrade Yusuff Kazeem, who was recently recognized as the Best Teacher in the Secondary School category in Nigeria, advised the bursary recipients to utilize the opportunity at their disposal.

The beneficiaries appreciated the philanthropic gesture of Animashaun and promised to make judicious use of the opportunity given to them.
