Differents Religions Leaders Organized Fasting And Prayer For Epe communities, The event brought together religious leaders from various faiths, this was held at Alhaji Akanni Bamu’s resident.
The League of Imams, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), and Traditional Worshippers joined the prayer in lifting their voices in union for the peace and progress of Epe, and Lagos as a whole.
The interfaith gathering underscored the community’s belief in the power of collective prayer.
Chief Idris Tele Olukoya addressed the gathering, highlights the numerous initiatives has undertaken to support the people of Epe.
He said the organization’s efforts in providing welfare, promoting education, and recognizing the achievements of sons and daughters of the community.
Chief Olukoya expressed concern that more work remains to be done.
“We have been doing our best every year, yet it feels like progress is still lacking,” He added
We realized that we had not yet sought divine intervention collectively, and so we brought together Christian, Islamic, and Traditional leaders to pray in one accord, believing that God will listen to our prayers.”
Large numbers of community members attends the prayer and aimed to seek divine guidance and blessings for the development of Epe Division.
