A momentous occasion was celebrated on Saturday, 17th August 2024, as Alhaji Ismail A. Adeyemi, the diligent 1st Vice Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA Community Development Committee, witnessed the matrimony of his son, Ahmed Adewunmi Adeyemi, to his cherished partner, Miss Toyibat Folashade Ajose, of the esteemed Ajose family from Badagry.

Held at the stunning Sycomore Hotel, the city’s premier event destination, the occasion was an epitome of luxury and refinement, from the exquisite décor to the lavish catering and exquisite entertainment.

The wedding proceedings were conducted in an Islamic way under the authority of the eminent scholar, Sheikh Abdul Wahab Zubair al-Gamawwiy, the Grand Chief Imam of Zahwiyat Sofwat El Islam of Nigeria Central Mosque, Ajegunle, Ojokoro.
The Nikkah ceremony was officiated by the Chief Missioner of NASFAT Badagry Branch, while the lecture was delivered by the renowned Islamic Quran reciter, Ustaz AbdulMuhmin Raji, (Okin).
The wedding was attended by distinguished guests, including government functionaries such as Mr. Tolani Sule (Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Lagos), Mr. Robert Johnson Bibire (Commissioner for Local Government), and Mr. Ayodele Thomas (Vice Chairman, Iba LCDA).
Also, in attendance were top officials from Lagos State University of Education, Otto-Ijanikin, including the Vice Chancellor, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and other senior management staff. Other notable guests included Alh. Azeez Amusat (Chairman, Lagos State Community Development Advisory Council) and his wife, community leaders from Ojokoro CDC, industry captains, and other esteemed personalities.
