Lagos Lawmaker Restates Commitment To Academic Wellbeing of Constitutents

Mr. Nureni Akinsanya, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, reaffirmed his commitment to the academic development of the children within his Mushin Constituency I at the “Pursue the Future, Overtake Obstacles, Recover Stronger” leadership summit, which was held on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
The event, hosted by the State Local Government Education Authority, Mushin, was attended by a variety of distinguished guests.
The summit’s host and Education Secretary for Mushin LGEA, Princess Olufemi Akinlude, outlined the event’s goal—to inspire the children to doggedly pursue their ambitions and abstain from societal vices.
Mr. Nureni Akinsanya, represented by Mr. Goody Benjamin, expressed his appreciation to both the children and their parents for their active engagement during the summit.
While reaffirming his dedication to supporting the education of young learners in Mushin Constituency I, Mr. Akinsanya, who was represented by Mr. Goody Benjamin, mentioned several educational projects and initiatives he had spearheaded, stating, “I am privileged to host this significant event that will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our children. Let us all strive to empower these young minds with knowledge and skills, enabling them to realize their dreams and aspirations.”
He continued by commending the event’s organiser, stating, “I must acknowledge the dedication of the organiser. This event stands as a testimony to her unwavering commitment to both the academic and moral development of our youth.”
Among the numerous educational initiatives executed under Akinsanya’s leadership is the distribution of free General Certificate of Education (GCE) and Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms to underprivileged students, a testament to his commitment to fostering educational opportunities for all.
The leadership summit marks another milestone in Mr. Akinsanya’s ongoing efforts to enhance the educational landscape for children in Mushin Constituency I, ensuring that they are well-prepared to overcome future challenges and achieve their aspirations.
