Political leaders and stakeholders in Ajao Estate (Ward G) have shown their approval of the administration led by Adebayo Olasoju in Isolo LCDA, as they came together for a meeting with the council boss.
Echonews news report that the decision follows a questionable article that attempted to diminish the accomplishments of the council boss in the ward. Led by Chief Martins Ayoade Adegboyeg, the stakeholders denounced the article as the work of someone against the ward.
They highlighted the council boss’s fair distribution of benefits and listed various projects completed in the ward, including the construction of streets like Alao, Musiliu Akinsanya, Olabode, Stella Sholanke, and the finishing of Church Street.
During their comments, the stakeholders distanced themselves from the baseless article in its entirety, suggesting that the anonymous writer may belong to the opposition with a hidden agenda to create conflict between the ward and the council boss.
They all applauded the council boss for his selfless leadership and stated that governance has been thriving under Olasoju’s administration since 2021. They mentioned that they were aware of the benefits Mr. Wale Temowo had before, primarily his monthly remuneration from the council, and didn’t see a reason for someone to defend him excessively.
In conclusion, a vote of confidence was passed in favor of the council chairman, with a commitment from the stakeholders to support his continued success in his role.
