Residents of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have expressed gratitude for receiving the Monthly Conditional Cash Transfer Program initiated by the council chairman, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo.
Aimed at providing support to 3,000 residents, the program seeks to alleviate the financial strain faced by many in the community.
Under the program, beneficiaries selected from various segments of the community, including religious bodies, traditional rulers, market associations, and CDA/CDC’s, gathered at designated centers to receive N10,000 each.
This financial assistance has brought a sense of hope and relief to many households, including that of Olukunga Adebayo, who expressed gratitude for the support during challenging times.
“This #10,000 will go a long way for my family, I’m so grateful to the Chairman for thinking of us during these difficult times. It will help us to at least put food on the table.”
The Monthly Conditional Cash Transfer Program is just one of several initiatives implemented by the council boss administration in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA to address the economic challenges faced by residents.
Anomo’s commitment to the welfare of the community has been evident through his leadership and proactive measures aimed at improving the lives of residents in Ikosi-Ejinrin.
