People Should Feel The Impact of Our Govt- Babatunde

The Chairman of Orile Agege Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mr. Johnson Sunday Babatunde has charged members of his cabinet to make sure that tax payers money are judiciously used and members of the public feel the impact of the government.

He made this known during the Procurement/Budget retreat held during the week at Osmak Hotel & Suites Ibadan.

The Chairman in his welcome address at the retreat charged everyone present to make use of all they will learn judiciously , saying “as we are all custodian of the tax payers monies, our people need to feel the impact of the government in every sphere of there lives”.

Babatunde went on to say that it is crucial to give back to the community because it is the people’ trust in his administration that allowed them to regain power. As a result, he said, “As a team, we should all work together with this administration to achieve greater heights.”

In the upcoming fiscal year, he reaffirmed his pledge to raise the caliber of care provided by all LCDA healthcare institutions.

Mr. Taofeek Ambali led the procurement retreat and covered a lot of ground on the latest developments in the industry while highlighting the necessity of always using the best and most qualified service provider available at the time and to always put round pegs in round holes.

Mr Ambali validated the great imperatives of establishing the Procurement planning Committee , saying it is very imperative for this committee members to perform all duties assigned to them to the letter.

Present at the event were the Council Chairman Mr. Johnson Sunday Babatunde, Vice Chairman Mrs. Kafilat Akanni-Pedro, Executive members, Legislators, management team and other stakeholders.
