Robo Queens Team Manager, Adebayo Ademisoye has set a continental target for the club in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership 2023/2024 season.
The Lagos Landladies are one of the top sides in the topflight women’s football league in Nigeria.
Ademisoye said Robo Queens plan for the new season is to challenge for the trophies at stake and pick the continental ticket.
He added, he’s impressed with the new leadership of the NWFL board and their innovations to develop women’s football at the grassroots.
“The plan for the new season is to challenge for the trophies at stake and the continental ticket which everyone is looking forward to and I believe I have a team to represent the country,” he told ECHONEWS exclusively.
“So I’m doing all things good to make sure that this season, we have the continental ticket.
“I’m really impressed with the new NWFL board, it’s a new innovative idea and if you look at the past, what do you do to surpass those that left. We want the women football to grow in the grassroots and a new structure have been put in place for that and what we all need is to support and rally round it.”
Robo Queens will open their campaign in the NWFL Premiership 2023/2024 season against Edo Queens at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium, Benin.
