Again, the Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Alhaji Monsurudeen Bello Obe, has been honoured with Award of Excellence by Daaru Naim International School, Isheri-Olofin.
The award, according to the School, is in recognition of the “chairman’s support, dedicated commitment and significant contribution towards the progress of the school.”
The school’s Administrative Officer, Mr. Wasiu Taiwo, who presented the award on behalf of the Proprietor, Sheikh Imran Abdulmajeed Eleha, to the council boss in his office at the council secretariat, said the award is deserving.
The School Principal, Mr. Taoheed Salahudeen, declared that the council boss, whose daughter graduated from Daaru Naim School, has constantly supported the citadel of learning morally and financially.
He noted that his tremendous contributions have also helped to achieve the school’s aims and objectives, “hence he is worthy of appreciation and honour.”
Also speaking, the School Co-ordinator, Mallam Abdulrazak Akanbi, appreciated the council boss for always finding time within his busy schedule to visit the school whenever the need arose, saying Obe is worthy of emulation.
While receiving the award, the chairman appreciated the proprietor of Daaru Naim School and the entire Management Team, for instilling in his children and other students, standard Islamic, Western and Moral education.
He further explained that it was after attending his first conference in the school many years back that he decided to enrol his children there and that he has been getting value for his money.
Meanwhile, Obe charged all public officers either elected, appointed, or employed to put in their best and ensure service to humanity, saying “this is the only way to uphold the people’s trust and receive blessings from the Creator.”
In attendance at the award presentation were the Vice Chairman, Mr. Ayodele Ayodeji, the Council Manager, Mr. Olusegun Ajaguna, some members of the Executive and Management Teams of the Local Council.
Also present were the Co-ordinator of Daaru Naim International School, Mallam Abdulrazak Akanbi, the Principal, Mr. Taoheed Salahudeen, the Administrative Officer, Mr. Wasiu Taiwo, the Headteacher – Mrs. Fatimah Wahab, the Head of Language and Humanity, Mr. Kabir Afolabi, and a primary school pupil, Sulaiman Taqwa.
